Life-wide Learning Day 2023

On Life-wide Learning Day, which was held on 3 March 2023, students were given exceptional opportunities to expand their knowledge and acquire new skills through exciting learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Junior-form students enjoyed enriched learning experiences in subjects such as history and geography through engaging field trips. S1 students explored the historic Kowloon Walled City Park and Sung Wong Toi Park, while S2 students ventured to the walled village of Lai Chi Wo and the picturesque island of Kat O. S3 students were treated to a wandering tour of lesser-known attractions in the Kowloon and Hong Kong Island areas, taking in the city’s diverse landscapes. Alongside this, students developed their community awareness by participating in activities such as communication, problem-solving, and team building.

Senior-form students were provided with activities focused on career-life planning. S4 students attended career simulation talks organized by St. James’ Settlement, while S5 students were given guided campus tours of various universities to gain familiarity with university admissions procedures.

The Life-wide Learning Day provided students with a unique, mind-expanding experience in a single day that would otherwise take years to acquire. As one participating student put it, “I never knew learning could be so much fun and inspiring. It has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me.”
