Crowning of Mary 2024

On May 17, 2024, teachers and students gathered in the school hall to celebrate the Crowning of Mary ceremony, a cherished tradition that honours our Mother in Heaven.
Sister Mary Clare Sin, the Mother Superior of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd of Angers at Hong Kong and an alumna of St. Clare’s Girls’ School, graciously shared her insights into the virtues exemplified by Mother Mary.
Following her address, Catholic teachers and student representatives paid homage to Our Lady by offering her roses, a symbol of our love and devotion. The ceremony reached a solemn conclusion as the religious sisters crowned Our Lady with roses while all participants joined in singing a Marian hymn.
