Running Clarians

Nearly 60 students participated in the “Running Clarians” event on 26 June 2024. This event comprised diverse and engaging activities that assessed students’ teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and physical aptitude.
The event commenced with the School Hunt, where students scoured various locations for concealed puzzles related to the school and Houses. Armed with a sample puzzle, teams raced against the clock to swiftly locate their individual puzzle pieces. Additionally, they had the opportunity to discover and retain puzzle pieces from other teams, thus earning extra marks.
Proceeding with the event, the Triathlon featured an assortment of challenges. Participants maneuvered through ropes without triggering bells, contorted their bodies to traverse a bar, and engaged in the Deception Drinking Game. In this game, teams employed acting skills and deception to mislead the opposing team regarding the identity of the person consuming a special beverage, while the guessing team endeavored to accurately identify the individual.
The subsequent games included “Bye Your Tail” and “Balloon Fight.” For the “Balloon Fight,” teams employed strategic techniques to accurately toss water, simultaneously endeavoring to catch balloons thrown by the opposing team.
Overall, the Running Clarians event delivered an exhilarating and demanding experience for all participants. It fostered teamwork, critical thinking, and physical coordination.
