On the morning of 18 December 2024, teachers and students assembled in the School Hall for a serene and heartfelt ceremony to pray for the repose of the soul of our beloved former School Supervisor, Sr. Catherine Ni, MNDA.
The service commenced with prayers and hymn singing, followed by Bible readings that explored the profound meaning of life, deepening our appreciation for Sr. Catherine’s spiritual journey. Students then shared memorable aspects of Sr. Catherine’s life, reminiscing about her unwavering dedication to religious and educational services rooted in Hong Kong and Macau.
Sr. Louisa reflected on the deep bonds of sisterhood between Sr. Catherine and all MNDA sisters, emphasizing the compassionate nature and insightful leadership inspired by Sr. Catherine.
The ceremony concluded with a solemn tribute, as representatives offered white roses at the altar, symbolizing their deep respect and gratitude for Sr. Catherine’s significant contributions to the church and to St. Clare’s Girls’ School.
