To celebrate the joy of Christmas and the birth of baby Jesus, Father Tito Lopez Martin, Chairperson of the Diocesan Youth Commission, presided over a Thanksgiving Mass on the morning of 20 December 2024. During the Mass, Father Tito enlightened us with the true meaning of Christmas and explained the symbolic significance of the Christmas Candy Cane, which represents Jesus and joy.
The liturgy reached its climax when Father Tito and the students broke open a piñata, showering candies on all participants. This act symbolized our commitment to reject the seven deadly sins and to seek the eternal joy of God’s blessings.
The liturgy concluded joyfully as Catholic teachers and students received the sacrament and joined in singing Christmas hymns, leaving everyone blessed and uplifted.
