Community Services

The Community Services Committee is committed to fostering students’ holistic development through comprehensive and well‑structured community service learning programmes. These experiential learning opportunities are integral to nurturing well‑rounded individuals who demonstrate not only academic competence but also a strong sense of social responsibility, empathy, and global citizenship. Through meaningful engagement with diverse communities, students develop an awareness of social needs and an appreciation of civic responsibility, while discovering their strengths, developing leadership qualities, and building self‑confidence through making meaningful contributions to society.

Adopting a progressive and scaffolded approach, the Community Service Committee ensures that students participate in age‑appropriate service experiences that increase in complexity and responsibility over time. At the junior level, students take part in Bright Light Project, where they are introduced to the values and fundamentals of community service through guided and structured activities. At the senior level, students engage in more advanced Service Learning Programmes that emphasise initiative, leadership, and reflective practice. Through these programmes, students cultivate essential life skills such as collaboration, leadership, communication, and reflective thinking. By connecting learning beyond the classroom with real‑world contexts, the Committee empowers students to become compassionate contributors and responsible citizens in a rapidly changing society.

Heart to Heart School: The school encourages students to take part in volunteer services for not less than 500 hours a year.
